Rubber expansion joints

Rubber bellows are often used in situations where vibrations need to be absorbed.

An example of this is a pump set, whereby the rubber bellow ensures that the vibrations that are caused by the pump are not transferred to the adjoining pipe-line system. In such conditions our employees often build in rubber expansion joints provided with tie rods (limit bars), so reaction forces do not end up on the pump housing.

Vermeul supplies an extensive range of rubber expansion joints. They are available in various types of rubber, including EPDM, Hypalon, Nitrile and Viton. The rubber bellows can also be fitted with a PTFE liner to make the bellows optimally resistant against the most aggressive media.

For the hand build rubber bellows we have a good cooperation, since many years, with our Spanish partner Safetech S.L.U.
